Marc Faber: Obama’s Stimulus is a Failure! Dollar Will Become WallPaper !

If Faber is right (and I think he is), millions of American baby boomers will see their pensions become wall paper.

They will curse the day Obama became president. They will curse previous lawmakers too, but the buck will stop with whatever president happens to be in office when the shit hits the fan, and I think Obama will be that president.

Obama was elected on a platform of "change". But in terms of preserving the dollar as a store of value, he is the biggest calamity yet. It is just more of the same.

American baby boomers can start to kiss their social security good bye. Their monthly check will not be worth the paper it's printed on.

Obama, instead of addressing the problem head on, is bringing 40 years of failed policy to a head.

Tasco, about the employment figures being fudged, I am not surprised.

What else has Obama lied about?

Those of us who supported Obama and won the election did not expect instant results. Many of America's problems - unemployment, Islamic extremism, skyrocketing healthcare costs - were decades in the making, and will take time to fix.

The truly pitiable thing is that our fellow Americans on the right, having lost the election, have not put aside their disappointment and rejoined the majority to work for America's future. Instead, they are so committed to Obama's destruction that they would pull the whole country down to get him.

The good news is, the naysayers won't succeed. They never have. They are condemned to sit on the sidelines of history, whining like spoiled children, while America moves foreward.

Brian, judging by the size of Obama's budget deficits (he is redefining the term), I really wonder who is committed to the destruction of what.

I fear that millions of American baby boomers will see the dollar (and therefore their fixed income pensions) destroyed. Some very reputable people (such as Doug Casey and Marc Faber) have written and spoken about that. On investment matters, guys like Faber and Casey have been right more often than they have been wrong.

Faber has predicted that within 10 years, the American dollar will only be good for wall paper. I hope I have more than that for my pension.

Exclusive: Jobs 'Saved or Created' in Congressional Districts That Don't Exist

Here's a stimulus success story: In Arizona's 15th congressional district, 30 jobs have been saved or created with just $761,420 in federal stimulus spending. At least that's what the Web site set up by the Obama administration to track the $787 billion stimulus says.

There's one problem, though: There is no 15th congressional district in Arizona; the state has only eight districts.

And ABC News has found many more entries for projects like this in places that are incorrectly identified.

The "stimulus" will have some credibility if, as, and when messiah Obama puts his own money at entrepreneurial risk to create jobs.

Should I hold my breath?

Lots of real entrepreneurs will actually put their own retirement at risk. Should we wait for the messiah to put his indexed pension at risk?

Should I hold my breath?
