Visa

I'm looking for general visa info. Does anyone know about the on-line visa services?

I'd like a 6-month visa in advance.

Also in reality do I need a special visa to do some teaching while I'm there?

How hard is it to find a decent paying teaching job if I'm there and have experience and a certificate?

Not sure about the visa, but teaching jobs often are seasonal. The best time to look is about 1 or 2 months before schools start. It also depends what you mean by "decent paying", of course.

no worry about Visa, come here w/ tourist visa, then you can get a 6 month single entry visa at any travel agency for about 30usd.. or a multi-entry for 90usd. if you plan to teach a long term here you'll need a Uni degree and TEFL certificate. also, bring your paperwork, original degree, certificate, criminal background check.. you'll need that for work permit.

Teaching E in Vietnam is not bad gig.. if you're white, native E speaker, with the above items, you'll get about 15-17usd/hr. some places your tax.. other dont. if you dont have those credentials, your pay will be less.
