Your reasons for traveling: running away?

On the ever-entertaining Vagablogging blog: http://www.vagablogging.net/the-best-reason-to-travel-yours.html

"Someone once asked me if I was traveling because I was running away from something. The question took me by surprise—I had to stop and ask myself if I really was running away."

I've been asked the same thing, and once I almost believed it.

Very very interesting, I had the exact same question asked of me a couple weeks ago, and MY GOD I had to stop and think for a second.

Is there really a right reason to travel? I don't know what my reason is, it's just something I need to do and I'm not ready to stop yet.

I travel to get out of the rot, dealing with the same old thing, routine, conversations that lead nowhere, because majority of people aren't upfront. I run from paying my bills or is it that I pay my bills first and the remainer I spend in travel before it disappears on to my local surroundings that doesn't change.

It's a wonderful world out there therefore explore, venture out and with an open mind because its interesting that things one usually hears around our home area (by non travelers) is not factual, nor true in comparison to what one encounters being there on a firsthand basis and/or experiencing it.

Sorry, that the world is in such a state of dispare! (repair)

Enjoy your outtings,

4 whats new?

...overall, hmm!
