Hey all,
what's the quickest way of getting out of Bangkok when your flight lands there, without making the whole trip much more tiring? I don't particularly want to spend my first few days in Bangkok, rather in some relaxed place, but I don't want to make a really long local trip after a gruelling flight either.
Any ideas?

This Southeast Asian nation is full of friendly and beautiful people, and the food is absolutely out of this world. But the land of green rice fields and conical hats has a lot more to offer the tourist than just its streets full of motorbikes and historical importance; Bangkok is a shopper's paradise.
