ronaldo comments on Fed to come clean vinod I would correct your "The bank will get its money back." portion of your thread as the bank will not be getting their money back on the "portfolio of loans that has very little in arrears" that you were involved in giving out, because the bank never put up any money to start with, your loans were all made out of "thin air' just a click on the computer. So the bank can not get back what they never put out to start with. Just a point of fact.

ronaldo comments on Fed to come clean treedoc Since you seem to be interested in truth and not just someones opinion the following may be of interest to you. It can be verified by checking the court records. Lewis v. United States, 680 f.2d 1239 (1982) John L. Lewis, Plaintiff/Appellee. No. 80-5905 United States Court of Appeals, Ninth Circuit. Submitted March 2, 1982 Decided April 19 1982. As Amended June 24, 1982. Plaintiff, who was injured by vehicle owned and operated by a federal reserve bank, brought an action alleging jurisdiction under the Federal Tort Claims Act. The United States District Court for the Central District of California, David W. Williams J., dismissed holding that federal reserve bank was not a federal agency within the meaning of Act and that the court therefore lacked subject-matter jurisdiction. Appeal was taken. The Court of Appeals, Poole, Circuit Judge, held that federal reserve banks are not federal instrumentalities for purpose of the Act, but are independent, privately owned and locally controlled corporations. Affirmed. If you care to examine the complete case you will find that the only exception is under Section 4. Section 4. TAXATION The Reserve Banks are deemed to be federal instrumentality for the purposes of IMMUNITY from state taxation. So you have a privately owned corporation IMMUNE from taxation. Enjoy.

ronaldo comments on thomas jefferson vinod and jb You two have the capacity of putting out more dribble on this web site than all the other PBH'ers put together. What I was talking about is HOW A BANK REALLY WORKS. Tell me jb, what does any of your threads in this domke7 post on Thomas Jefferson have to do with HOW A BANK REALLY WORKS? And what does your last thread mean..........."Sigh"............What has that got to do with HOW A BANK REALLY WORKS....... ..........you act like an old woman. And vinod, if you think what I have written here is not correct and that as you have said "....... my level of financial knowledge that I appear to possess and the level of my ignorance"........, then please demonstrate once again your brilliance and tell us again that the Federal Reserve is part of the US Government. Further if I don't know what I am talking about when I said that "you loan out money that your bank does not even have", please tell us where the bank that you work for gets the money that you lend out?
|
|
ronaldo comments on thomas jefferson vinod First of all you have to throw those financial statements in the garbage if you want to know how a bank really works. Or a more appropriate use for them would be to give them to someone who still has an outhouse.

ronaldo comments on What should be threatening American Democracy is America as a Republic. Democracy as we know it was designed by British Aristocracy when the pheasants threatened to lop of their heads, so to prevent that they designed what is now known as democracy. They, the Aristocracy, decided they had to give the pheasants something , so they gave them the vote and let them elect their representatives who were to do the pheasants bidding and then corrupt the representatives so they did the Aristocracy bidding. Sound familiar?

ronaldo comments on thomas jefferson treedoc.... also the Federal Reserve provides no financial statements to anyone, NOT EVEN THE US TREASURY OR IRS, and some of the directors are not even US citizens and are foreigners setting the monetary policy of the USA. Talk about a license to steal. AND further vinoid, Canadian chartered banks are "institutions of issue" and "create credit" every day in their banks. If they didn't, how would they have any money to lend out since "depositers" money never leave the bank nor do any funds from share subscriptions? Banks have even mastered the task of having the taxpayers pay ALL interest on their own deposits in their banks. Banks do not pay one single penny of interest on bank deposits, the taxpayers pay ALL the interest paid to the depositers. Banks are the slickest thought out and most profitable business venture known to mankind and are designed that they are IMPOSSIBLE TO FAIL and they CAN NEVER FAIL as a bank. What you do in your commercial lending in the bank that you work for IS LOANING OUT MONEY THAT THE BANK DOES NOT EVEN HAVE. I don't know how you could work for a bank all your life and not know how our monetary system even works.

ronaldo comments on thomas jefferson Sorry, vinoid, but I don't support financial enslaving of my children and grandchildren just to make a quick buck for me now. Slavery is not going to be my legacy to my children. I like to think that I have more principals and "balls" than that. I don't join the majority of typical Canadians who say "but what can you do" every time they lack the guts to take action or speak out against something that is wrong.
|
|
ronaldo comments on I'm a Medicare doctor. Here's what I make It is not widely known, but medical doctors who left Canada for big bucks in the medical field in the US are now returning to Canada as the pay is higher in Canada than in the US. Canada now has a net migration of doctors back to Canada instead of a minus immigration to the US.

ronaldo comments on Goldman Sachs being sued by Pension Fund Shareholder. At one time in our history, some people used to go in a bank and say "stick em up", and rob the bank. But the banks have gotten even, now when you go into a bank, the bank does everything it possibly can to "rob" you. They just don't say "stick em up" anymore, but they sure as hell "rob" you.

ronaldo comments on Doctors vs. Guns. Your statistics are flawed, in 1999 alone there were 3,385 children killed by guns. In 2010 the number will even be higher. Last year there were 1,825 children killed by their stupid parents leaving loaded guns laying around that the kids got a hold of. An average of 5 per day.

ronaldo comments on thomas jefferson vinoid, one wonders what side of the fence you are on? You tout buying Canadian bank stocks when in 1802 Tomas Jefferson warned against these banks. The banks have already achieved what Jefferson warned against as they own just about everything now. Why would you continue to support the enslaving of the population by these banks?

ronaldo comments on Socialism for foes, capitalism for friends vinod, not just socialists politicians, capitalists politicians are as guilty because the name of the game is "WHATS IN IT FOR ME" and all of them are only interested in filling their own pockets. Remember the REFORM party, (now the Harper party) all claimed that none of them would take "those golden MP pensions" and every one of them that are left are all on the list for the "doll" of up to $155,000 a year after 6 years as an MP. How about capitalist Paul Martin (Canada Steamship Lines) registered his shipping country off shore to avoid paying Canadian taxes and then when he got into the government finance department he arranged to bring his capital back to Canada tax free. A one time thing just for him. There is a never ending list of examples. REMEMBER, if you assume that the government is lying to you 100% of the time, you will be correct 85% of the time: AND if you assume that the government is NOT lying to you, you will only be correct 15% of the time. As far as Bob Rae is concerned, I don't know why any party would even let him through the door, not alone be a member of the party. Bob Rae, another way of spelling ........D - I - S - A - S - T - E - R. Just look back at the nightmare that he brought to the people of Ontario.

ronaldo comments on Something Very Strange Is Happening With Treasuries Not difficult to explain, when no arms length investor wants to buy them, you simply buy them yourself under a different name ( in this case undisclosed name) to create the appearance of demand for the product. Probably the Federal Reserve. You can imagine the reaction in the marketplace if you had to admit that there were "no takers". A real disaster.

ronaldo comments on HATS OFF TO OBAMA jb fastpatch Feb 8, 2010, 21:07 On Feb 8, 2010, 11:47 I posted on a thread which read in part: ".................I am beginning to think that you have mental problems" I will now correct that statement to read as follows: ".................now I know that you have mental problems" You state in the above thread on Feb 8,2010, 21:07 "How is confiscating money from the banks going to help anyone?" Tell me something jb? Question Number (1) When the American taxpayer lends money to the banks to bail them out and then expects the banks to pay back the American taxpayer at some future date...........how possibly do you in your twisted mind think that if the banks pays back the American taxpayer for their loan to the banks, that the American taxpayer is "confiscating" the banks money? Did the banks get this money in some kind of "inheritance" or "entitlement" from the American taxpayer? When the banks loan jb money and then expect jb to pay the bank back are the banks "confiscating" jb's money? You must be nuts. In your same thread you also stated: "I know you (meaning me, Ronaldo) are clueless about economics, but even you should realize that banks can't lend money to business if the government steals it." Question Number (2) Since I am "clueless about economics" would you please enlighten me and tell me where the banks get the money that they loan to business to expand and employ more people and loans to homeowners in the form of a mortgage to buy a home for their family? ALSO in the same thread you stated: "Thats right Ronaldo, all money possessed by governments is stole from productive taxpayers." For once I agree with you, IMAGINE THAT, except I think that "stole" is a rather strong word to use in this instance, but if you prefer "stole" I will go along with it for the purpose of my next question. Question Number (3) When you were going to school, in your way of thinking, you "stole" money from productive taxpayers, single persons with no children, couples with no children and grandmothers who actually had their money "confiscated" in the form of education tax to pay for jb's education. You never paid the "true" cost and were subsidized with "other peoples money". Right? Seems that you are also a closet "freeloader". So question number (3) is that since you are always shooting off your mouth about someone "confiscating jb's wealth and giving it so some other non-productive person" have you ever gone back to the school boards (and the taxpayers who funded these school boards, better known as "other peoples money") and insist that they allow you to pay the "true" cost of your education so you can not be called, by your own stated standards, a "freeloading socialist parasite" who used "other peoples money " to pay for his education? Or jb did you just take the money and run? Now, jb, you have a habit of ducking or ignoring the questions put to you with regard to your own statements, as other people have brought to your attention here before, so for once, can you have the "balls" to answer the three questions as put to you in this thread?

ronaldo comments on HATS OFF TO OBAMA jb fastpitch January 15, 2010, 20:19 "Ronaldo cheers as unemployment rises as more people loose their homes in the worst reccession........................" Jb you make the most absurd assinine statements, and I am beginning to think that you have mental problems. How do equate my saying that the American taxpayer should get his money back from the banks for the bank bailouts as me "cheering as unemployment rises and more people loose their homes etc" How in your mind do you relate these two statements?

ronaldo comments on You know we have someone who posts a lot of threads about "lefties" and the "Communist Party USA Agenda" on this site. Juepaje Right on, ALL governments lie (manipulate the numbers to produce what they want for results). Most people confuse the value of a dollar with the exchange rate. The exchange rate is what it costs to buy a different currency and the value of a dollar is what it can buy. If you combine the exchange rate and the result of the true inflation then the value of the dollar since I started to come to Colombia is a DISASTER. The inflation rate in the last 3 years is for sure double digit. barn m I agree with you, please azunoman, no more RR, he did enough damage when he was pres.

ronaldo comments on jb, first of all, you have not asked a question. Secondly you have stated for a fact that we are on welfare, work for the government or a union. ronaldo comments on US$ will be further devalued and will be replaced as the currency that world commodities are measured in. For all of you living in Colombia look for 1,500COP for 1US$ or even less.(For me the US$ has already devalued 37% in relation to the COP, so I can only buy less than 2/3rds of what I bought before). Take the money that you are spending every month now to live in Colombia and remove 37% and put it away somewhere safe and see what happens to you lifestyle with what you have left. Its already happened to me and I look for a further devaluation of 25%. What I used to buy for US$ 3,150 now cost me US$ 5,000. Another way to look at it is the lifestyle that cost me US$ 3,150 in Colombia now casts me US$ 5,000, so without me injecting another US$ 1,850 a month just to maintain my lifestyle I would have BIG BIG cutbacks. With the massive, massive national debt burden in the US, even at these artificial interest rates the debt CAN NOT be paid. And that spells B-A-N-K-R-U-P-T.

ronaldo comments on GM hy wire.........car of the future... sloopskipper, they also got caught in the conspiracy in the Los Angles case and had to pay millions in fines. They also pulled up the tracks the next morning after wining the "bribed" vote at city council to make sure that the streetcars were never put back in service. They installed their "own" people into the transit system to screw up the schedule as much as possible for the street cars and then burnt the street cars the day after the vote. SO MUCH FOR THE ALLEGED "FREE ENTERPRISE" SYSTEM.
|
|
ronaldo comments on GM hy wire.........car of the future... I also agree with sloopskipper, GM is still operating like it was 1955. As far as GM trying to get rid of Hummer, it was very difficult seeing GM had to get a letter from every buyers Doctor of Psychiatry stating that the buyer was NOT NUTS. GM did not want the liability of the buyer to later claim that they must have been insane to buy this thing. AND barn m is right the electric car will be the car of the future, just as soon as it is FREED from the stranglehold of the existing car manufacturers and the oil industry.

ronaldo comments on Venezuela's Chavez threatens to kick out carmakers goin south Dec 28, 2009 11:15 I Googled "Venezuela Food Cost" and found lots of food cost articles but was not able to pin point 2 liters of Coca Cola. The articles gave examples of inflation rates of food but concluded, even by enemies of Chavez, that Venezuela is doing better in the cost increase of food than most of their latin coumterparts. Venezuela imports most of their food stuff from Brazil, Cuba and Argentina.

ronaldo comments on Venezuela's Chavez threatens to kick out carmakers vinoid December 27, 2009 09:32 "And just exactly to whose blackmail was the Canadian government yielding? Would that be GM or UAW?" As you have phrased your question it should be obvious, GM, (Chrysler would also qualify). GM (Chrysler) is the only party who has the power to withdraw production from Canada. UAW does not, UAW only has a collective labor agreement with the auto manufacturers and has no power to dictate management decisions. That is why during the bailout of the auto manufactures, the auto manufacturers negotiated new labor agreements with the UAW. Does that answer your question?

ronaldo comments on Venezuela's Chavez threatens to kick out carmakers jb fastpatch Dec 26, 2009, 21:27 You seem to have an adversative reaction to anything you can "label" "left". "You are just flat wrong about the electric death traps laughingly refered to as cars by the left." Because they are made by the "left" what makes them deathtraps? Your detailed crash tests will no doubt be welcome here by all interested parties who are interested in purchasing ZERO EMISSIONS cars. "If you look into the energy expended in producing the batteries and the pollution involved, they are an ecological disaster" You have no doubt done the research on this subject and I look forward to you sharing it in detail with me and all the PBH'ers. "One of the reasons Detroit looks like Dresden circa May, 1945 is what the federal regulations of the leftists and the unions have done to the US auto industry." Could you be more specific as to: (a) What federal regulations of the leftists that you are refering to, and; (b) What the unions have done to the US auto industry.

|
ronaldo comments on Venezuela's Chavez threatens to kick out carmakers vinoid Dec 25, 2009, 23:05 "Since when are blackmail and extortion legitimate "negotiating tactics"?" Since always that when. It was just done by US auto manufacturers when they said to the Canadian Government "either bail us out or we will withdraw production from Canada". Seems it is only "blackmail" for some people when someone you don't like does it. "Give us (auto manufacturers) more concessions (cash handouts, tax concessions, free land, free infastructure etc from government) or we will close this plant". They (auto manufacturers) have been doing it for decades.
|
|
ronaldo comments on Venezuela's Chavez threatens to kick out carmakers Nothing new about sharing technology in auto industry. Canada just signed an agreement between the auto manufactures and independent repair shops for the big auto manufacturers to provide the technology to service big auto makers cars to the independents. Long overdue, so nothing earth shattering about sharing technology. As far as the Chinese are concerned, I just researched some of their electric cars. They have a nice four seater all electric zero emissions car great car for every day pick up the groceries etc car for just $5,500 US$ FOB China. They also have a nice all electric zero emissions car the size of a Honda, Toyota and as nice in styling that will do 130 k and hour and go 455 k on one charge at that speed. Cost $9,000 - 11, 000 US$ FOB China. Problem is big auto makers lobby has blocked them for use in Canada. All you people who are complaining about Chavez should be more concerned about the big auto makers preventing trade in your own back yard.

ronaldo comments on Acorn and the Housing Bubble manINred Nov 25,2009 20:46 Sorry I will stick to the monopoly argument. You are correct on telecommunications rip off in Canada. I figure it is about 5X the cost in US. "Canadian Banks add real value to the economy........." I don't get that one at all...please elaborate. Transaction fees...........sorry again to disagree with you on this one, most people don't realize how banks "nickel and dime you to death" with a fee for everything they possibly can. CHECK THIS ONE OUT FOR MAYBE A SURPRISE........CIBC FINANCIAL STATEMENTS DATED 31 JULY 2009.........QUARTERLY REPORTING.............INTEREST INCOME $1,369B...........FEE INCOME $1,488B They make more from FEES than they do from INTEREST and they are a bank in the loan out money and make interest business. SURPRISE...SURPRISE. I bet most people don't realize that, did you? I never said anything about their size.......nada...silch...nothing. But I will say this about size, you can not operate big time and be very, very profitable without a "price fix". The Telecommunications that you mentioned is a perfect example.
