Hey, maybe... I'm living here in Bogota in the North... but am looking for a place to live (American)... 27 years old with a girl (but she lives with her family up north).... as long as there is nerby transportation (I should know this by now)... but a decent place at 400,000 plus ... sounds good to live with some other foreigners.... I'm very chill...

roflandr........good luck in your proposed magazine on colombia. not sure i agree with an all spanish venue....especially if it's published in los angeles. another thought might be a mixed venue like pbh. but heh, it's your baby, give birth as you will. there will no doubt be countless ex pats as well as nationals who'ld love to see their name in print and proffer some interesting articles on colombia and en re their experiences in colombia and with colombians and her culture.

hell, it did a number on me 20 years ago. i went down as a guest for gaviria's enauguration (he went to school in my home town in california) and since i had lived and ran businesses in the 'fast lane' for 25 years, i couldn't go to colombia and not see medallo. well, i did. the rest is history. ive lived in medellin and it's surrounds for the last twenty years, married a paisa and have family in envigado. what can i say. when we're home, i tend to spend my time up in llano grande.
