mosvar comments on Just went to do some dancing on Saturday for my Brithday. Bro n Sis rented a limo for fourteen of us. Went to Cuba Libre, dancing was good, nice atmosphere, professionals came out and did salsa like every 30 minutes or more. Not sure about their food but the drinks are real good.

They wanted so much for the 'duty' which was a lie she never picked them up. Like 30,000 pesos. I did a quick search. Try this site. http://www.movermax.com/do_it_yourself.asp I have seen on this question that the verdict is that a shipping container is best for large amounts of goods. Real cheap out of Miami so I have heard. You may want to share a large container with someone on here. Wouldn't be to leary abt risking your stuff getting pilfered by said stranger upon arrival as you'd know when it is coming in. With that I am no authority but have definitely heard that the container is the best idea. Don't even bother with normal shipping companies DHL, UPS, Fedex, TOO EXPENSIVE.

Bottle service is good there and failry inexpensive for vacation standards in the city. For your tastes avoid = Isis, La Dolce Vida, and Queens.

Also if you go to Cartagena and stay long enough you may want to go to Santa Marta and Barunquilla for a day or two...... But yes Caratgena is a def safe bet. My suggestion is do not stay at a hostel they r not like the European hostels and usually slummy and relegated to catering to 'late night clientele" if you know what I mean. I got a deacent deal at Hotel Cartagena Plaza. The only complaint I had was by the 4th day of 11 the A/C unit broke. They lied and said it wld be fixed but personally, I was out every night until the wee hours, didn't really care either cause if you are going somewhere tropical heat is part of teh deal. It's like 90 deg year round I believe, feels like 104deg with 75% humidity and about 80 at night. As far as flights are concerned try spirit if that is at a airport near you. enjoy.
