Your English is excellent already. Without having a grammar base to start off with and solidifying that with conversation (input plus 1 and output) you will spend an exponential amount of time acquiring a second language as an adult. You need both unless you want to be fully imersed for 8 years or so. Feel free to contact me if you want links to these studies or look up Stephen Krashen.

Also feel free to contact me if you want a few good books on Spanish grammar as well. It's worth having an instructor that can teach you grammar first but a good book can help if you can't afford or find a bilingual instructor that actually knows the rules of both languages.

I use Iris and find her teaching skills excellent. I have sent two of my friends and they have the same reviews of the school and the tech. My classes are done through SKYPE and I think about 1/2 class is just conversation and 1/2 working on a specific area be it pronuncation or subjuntivo or imperativo. I had done Berlitz before and FSI and really like my classes with Iris and her school.
