haircut in London

I went to a unisex salon in the Elephant and Castle shopping centre and got a haircut and wash for £10. But I got free Spanish practice with a Colombian from Cali. Fernanda 020 7708 0307. Not as good or as cheap as my one in Cartagena nor was she as beautiful still ... The place is next door to the restaurant the Bodeguida (sp?).

Some places charge $15 here in Miami for a Men's Cut. Before I would pay that, I would go one of the Barber schools where students give haircuts for $5!

Please this isn't about money, you get what you pay for. It was just a post for anyone in London wanting to practice Spanish.

I get my haircut here in Calgary by get this... In a Chinatown salon by an ethnically Chinese woman that grew up in Argentina. She has all the Argentinian sayings too which makes it really funny.

I like that price,,,,

Chester--they also are some of the most expensive beauticians here in Miami, for a good price, go to one of the Barber Schools or beauty Academys

I paid 15.00 USD here in my little southern Wisconsin billet just the other day, left the barber guy a 5 dollar tip and still had to touch it up with thinning scissors when I got home.
Back to Juan Valdez centro when I return to Bogota in late June I guess, the guy there is great at listening and doesn't touch your hair until he's sure!

Flaco, was that Fernanda's phone number in your post? Did she say it was OK to publish it in an internet forum?

It's a business number not a private number. It's the number of the unisex salon which is shared by many hairdressers.

Concerning Chinese speaking Spanish, I'm amazed at how good they are seeing as they always mangle English.
