| Wants to travel to: | I am going to Oaxaca, Mexico for 6 weeks and then heading to Cali, Colombia to stay with family for a while. I am half Colombian (mi mama es de Medellin) but have never been there. I know I know - terrible. My goal is to finally become fluent in Spanish and learn my mother's culture. I am so in touch with my Irish side (my father is our classic Brooklyn Irish boy) that it is about time I figure out this whole Latina thing. | |

| About (hobbies etc...) | My passion is music (hip-hop, punk, 80s new wave, OLD country e.g. Johnny Cash & Hank Williams, anything M.I.A., dancehall and reaggae) cooking (I used to be a cook at a French Bistro and would love to own a bed and breakfast or catering company one day) and languages. I love to write and read and am particularly interested in linguistics (I have a B.A. in anthropology) and totally love to geek out on the history and etymology of the English language. Yeah, I'm a nerd. | |
