Thank you lampltr. What am I doing in Texas? Well, I'm not really sure, but doing a little bit of everything. No, seriously I been living here since 1991, I do not like it much but no other choice at this moment. Isn't this a beautiful pollera? I love it. I think is one of the most beautiful national dresses in the world. Blessings.

Rose, was thinking you were a man sorry jeje, did not thoroughly look at your profile...Thank you for adding me as a friend!! I understand what you mean by not having choices at the moment but jump at opportunities when you can or time will pass you by. Later you will end up saying I should have done this or done that....I am guessing you are of Latin heritage correct? If so what country, Colombia?
Yes you are correct in regards to the dress. There is several restaurants in Panama that put on great local skits where this type of clothing with 1 restaurant in Panama City that is very famous.

Take care,

Pat

Sorry I didn't answer you before, but between geting ready for the hurricane, leaving my house, going to a safe place and been without electricity for over a week its been imposible to check anything in the web. Yes, you are right, is necessary to be a little intrepid and jump at the opportunities when I can. I try to do it everytime I can, that is not that often, but I try to take advantage of every opportunity I can. I was born in Florida and my heritage is Latin from Costa Rica and Italian. My husband is from Panama.
And you, what is your background? From Panama or Colombia? Or maybe you have travel or lived in Panama?

Blessings,

Rose

Sorry for the major delay (jeje) have been so busy with life that I do not get on PBH that often..Interesting what you communicated, quite the heritage....
I am originally from the USA but have been overseas many years due to my work. I receive my Cedula and Panamanian passport (About time!!) in 1.5 years. My wife is from Colombia and we (her) jump back & forth quite often since family is there, have a home & business. Panama is next on the list since Colombia is a pain in the ass to bring personal goods/car in country. Panama absolutely no problem and I am not selling my car!!! I have some friends in Colombia that are trying to work their magic to get my car in but time will tell.

Best bet is to send a private message to make sure I get it...again sorry for the major delay.

Blessing for new year and more too
