Sorry fore responding so late !

We don´t have any experience with a camping idea But you can stay in open air inside the farm. But no cooking and breakfasts in the field ! Our food is great and not expensive
( a simpel Breakfast ( arepa with eggs and koffie or choclat ( 3.000 )
a more luxery breakfast with fruits, yochurt, etc ( 9.000 ) .
Colombian plate for diner (10.000)
More expensive till 15.000

Staying overnight in open field for the 6 of you 42.000 a night ( 7.000 each )

In the first place ............................Thank you for responding so correctly and I like to introduce myself an my wife
My name is Joop ( I'am from Holland ) and I'am living now for 5 jears here near Armenia together with my Colombian wife Diana in a little but beautifull rebuild Finca-house ( not traditional but modern, with different colors) Since last year we operate a little but luxery hotel. We are not coffee- but cattle-people ( about 20 cows ) My age is 66. My wife a little lot less !
Now I like to answer your questions:
1. In this moment the US$=about 1.700 col pesos
2. In our mini Golfcourse is a public toiletroom with 3 toilets and you can use the bathroom for our workers.
3.We are living 1640 mtr above sea-leavel ..... depends when you like to come ..... in July for exemple the nights are 17 C but the wind can come from the Nevadas and than is advisible to wear some warm vests or a little coat

So realy is not allowed to prepaire your own food why ? we hopely have other hotelguests and than we like to run our hotel in our tradition. We have a spit outdoor but only our Cook is handling that ............ hopely you understand !
4. Temparature is 17 till 24 C People here are most of them Coffeefarmers, Very kind and open. The jungle of the amazonas is really far away but Hiking in Valle de Cocora ( horse-riding too ) is a perfect spot to do. It is near Salento ( if you wish we can bring you there in half an hour with our cars ( normal fee, like a cab)
5. The distance to Bogota is 7-8 hours by bus ( 350km)... Cali 200 km ( 2,5 hours by bus ) .... Medellin 350 km ( 7 hours by bus )
