I traveled for 3 months in Congo in the 90s, it was great. But since then all the wars have been going on, are people still going? Anyone going beyond just Kinshasha.

dmo says on Sep 9, 2008, 20:22: I was in North and South Kivu in 2005, and it's no joke. I met people who made it through the country from West to East on their own but it took them many weeks and more than a few years off their lives. I'd love to go back though, count me in! =)
