A glistening white clean modern ten story hotel on Calle 1. Each floor has a large balcony overlooking the bay where you can sit and enjoy the sunset and sea breeze in the evening. The hotel has comfortable beds, internet cafe, also free access in rooms and the balconies, AC, laundry, phones and all the usual amenities. Calle 1 is lined with seafood restaurants, bars and discos and there is a park which is full of people on Friday night. If you go to bed early you may want ear plugs or ask for a room in back away from the balcony. About six blocks down is the Muelle Turistico or dock where the tourist boats leave for Los Ladrilleros and Juanchaco. At the price of US $20 for a single this has to be one of the dwindling number of bargains in Colombia.
