A small finca to call your own while staying in Villa de Leyva, Bonnie (Canadian) and William (Colombian) have created a rustic bed & breakfast with enormous windows to star gaze at night and an open air bathroom to truly feel in the outdoors. Both house were built by Bonnie, William and a handful of friends and they will more than gladly take you around to meet the local artists in Villa de Leyva and explore local sites not in the tour books.
They offer discounts to people who know anything about permaculture or organic gardening. Prices are a bit higher than basic hostels but this is a home, not just a cheap place to stay: 40,000 pesos per person per night.
They also offer a breakfast that includes a never ending fruit salad, fresh juice, pancakes, eggs how you like them, chorizos, omelette, quiche, etc.

vagabond98 says on Jul 19, 2009, 18:02: truly amazing place - very peaceful, William is extremely nice and helpful and was able to drive us around to neighboring sites - the ceramic house was neat and not in guide books, he charged 20k for driving us around back and forth to town which i thought was great
