The place is great.. It is the best one on that block. One thing I did not like is that the women at the front desk have no people skills. They are very rude to other women. None of them speak good English. There one guy there he was very cool and very friendly Jose...The rest was fine. 20.000 to have a place to rest your head after a day of adventure and to have your bags taken care of is just what a traveler needs!!

Well I am not into pot... and lots of the people that were there weren´t either. I actually saw some people that were staying at the Baluarte who were trying to buy pot from some girls in the corner so it really does not matter if you smoke or not it is a matter of what you can afford and where you want to stay. Yes I saw the Baluarte and it was real good. I saw it after I posted my comment about Marlin.

Didn't have good experience with Marlin. After trying to find a room in casa viena, they helped us and called in Hotel Marlin for free rooms. Hotel Marlin told them that they have one for 35000COP and 5 minutes after (we went over in between)they made up a new price-50000COP...for no reason and on top for a hole!Just rude!Next day they lost our door key(not only the key of our room!)and blamed us for it! The staff(esp. the woman on the counter;-)didn't help at all!
