This place has small (some say claustrophic) but clean rooms with bathroom at 40000 (US$ 18) for a double, 50000 pesos for 2 double beds and 60000 pesos for 3 double beds (a great deal if you happen to travel with 3 couples that don't mind sharing a room?) It's a good place for a night if the great places are full, and well located.

ice says on Jun 18, 2008, 12:39: I had planned to stay at this hotel in June of 08. I made a reservation. But when I got there the room that I needed with 3 doble beds was like way too small. like hobit sized. they werent true dobles. No room to move. And the toilet seat was missing. I found an apartment much cheaper and better.

mip says on Feb 6, 2009, 13:46: Loved this place...recently remodeled. It is not a hostel, so don't come looking for a place to hang out with other travelers - but if you want a cheap, quiet, private hotel, this just might be for you. Rooms are small but if you get one on an upper floor with windows, you get lots of light, you're off the street, and if you just basically need a place to sleep and relax, it's perfect. I looked at other hotels (Ambala - stayed one night and it was horrible, no windows and could barely walk around the bed) that were twice the price of Jimenez and not as good. The place is bright, staff very nice, rooms and sheets exceptionally clean. For 50,000 for a double, right in Candelaria and a few blocks from the Transmilenio, and a nice view of the mountains, and tons of good eating options around, what else could you ask for?
