Description:
In a beautiful house in the Old City, this very upscale place has a central courtyard with a pool, a kitchen that is practically open air, a deck on top where you can see everything. The master bedroom has this great bathroom with a shower that is open to the sky so you are basically outdoors. If it happens to be raining (which is was one day), your shower is partially rainwater.

Description:
A group of 5 of us stayed at a really beautiful house in the Old City...It's beautiful. There is a central courtyard with a pool, a kitchen that is practically open air, a deck on top where you can see everything. My friend had her daughter with her and she spent the entire time in the pool. None of us has slept that well in years. The master bedroom has this great bathroom with a shower that is open to the sky so you are basically outdoors. If it happens to be raining (which is was one day), your shower is partially rainwater. Really nice guy takes care of it. He arranged a trip to the islands for us. Great food..very reasonable prices. Very safe neighborhood, in fact there is a place next door where police sleep. Very cool neighborhood as well. Great masseuse. found it on vacation rentals.com but they have a website www.casasofiacartagena.com....they speak English. Guy there only speaks a little English but was able to practice my bad Spanish and not be embarrassed. Didn't seem to matter. They are a little particular about who stays there...questioned how many in our group, ages, etc..Loved it! Beautiful Caribbean colors on the walls, salsa music can be a little loud in the evenings but it stops.. At the time (May) we paid about $400 US per night., Totally worth it to have the space, location, ability to cook if we want, pool to ourselves, etc..
