Hi,
I am a foreigner in Medellin. Will stay here for a while. In the coming long weekend I would want to visit Cartagena, El Tutumo & Santa Marta.
Can someone help me plan my travel? What will be the cost and the best possible route. I am open to both air and bus travel.
A small problem I have is that I speak very little spanish. If any group of back packers is already planning something similar pls let me know, I would love to join.
Thanks

Gator says on Oct 3, 2009, 20:43: In you time frame air travel is the only way unless you want to see the cities from the bus windows. El Tutumo is a tourist trap and not worth the time, IMHO. You would have to fly direct from Medellin to either Cartagena CTG or Santa Marta SMR Not air travel between those two without transiting Bogotá. I fly to Cartagena or Bogotá and spend the three days in one of those. "Bene, cum Latine nescias, nolo manus meas in te maculare" . 0 funny, 0 helpful. |
