Taking niece out of the country

Is it possible for my husband and I to take our Colombian niece out of the country (Colombia) with us on a trip? She is 15 years old. If so, what do we need from her parents and for DAS?

Where do you plan on taking her? Does she have a visa to travel? Basically, you will need permission from the parents and have the forms notarized. You can check at DAS.

Back to work! It sucks,....

We are thinking about her joining us on a cruise. She would have to get her passport of course. But where we are going, there arn´t any visas required.

Yes you can travel with her if no visas are necessary. You will also need notarized, signed permission slips from both parents that you can show the DAS the day you leave the country.

Hello,
Please tell me a little bit more about your cruise. I saw something about it on an earlier post. I am very much interested in it. Thanks

You will need the permission letter from both parents, noterized, and not more than 60 days old.

The DAS form and information are here-can be downloaded
