Spousal Process - Bogota Embassy

Just recently sent in all the paperwork to Immigration here in Canada to sponsor my wife and was wondering about providing additional information/proof of our relationship when the file eventually reaches the embassy in Bogota. Can I mail them additional proof (pictures, receipts, etc..) of visits and time together from this point on? They will accept it and add it to my file correct? Thanks.

When the files will be open in the embassy, your wife will receive a letter from then (AOR), and inside this letter you will have 10 sticker with your immigration file number, you can use it to send more information via mail. but it really important that you send enough proof at the beginning... is the base of you application.

Have you been approve from Mississauga as sponsor now ?

Are you ready to wait... as my wife receive this letter 2 months ago and inside is said the normal processing time is 10 long months... and from now we dont hear anything from then !!!

Thanks for the info Yullover. I sent the files to Mississauga 2 weeks ago so I have a couple of weeks before I hear back from them. I put as much proof as I could of our relationship but it's good to know that there is a process that I can use to send more proof of future visits and time spent with her. I'm heading back in November for a short stay and then again in late January for a longer period of time when she has her holidays. I imagine that any extra proof that you can send to the embassy of an ongoing relationship and time spent together will help. As far as the wait goes, yes I'm prepared. I knew what I was up against with the immigration process before I married her. All things considered I would be happy if the process was completed in 10 months. Thanks again and good luck to you.
