The Barefoot Foundation is a Colombian non profit, non governmental organization created by internationally acclaimed artist and humanitarian Shakira. The organization is devoted to finding and providing opportunities for children who are victims of the violence in Colombia. Our goal is to improve the education, nutrition, and the lives of the thousands of boys and girls who have been displaced and who are living under perilous conditions because of the violence in Colombia.

Wow, she's awesome and her Portuguese is really fluent (Im amazed!!). It's unbelievable how she can handle to speak so well without having ever lived in any Portuguese-speaking country. Congrats, Shakira, you're also naturally gifted to languages too, that's great!!
