More info. please, where exactly, who owns the house, and yes pics, lots of pics

All truth goes through three phases. First, it is ridiculed. Second, it is violently opposed. Third, it is accepted as being self evident.

The house is located on Calle Moore no 50A-60.
I bought the house a year ago and have updated electric, changed all the water pipes and built new bathrooms in every room. Right now there are 18 rooms all with private bathrooms.
The idea was to change it into a B&B in the near future, however I,ve been getting trouble from DAS in bogota with my business visa so I shelved that idea for right now.....they sure don't make it easy to bring in your money and provide employment in Colombia.
Also any new hotel in Prado Centro is required to be at least four stars wich means services like bar, restaurant, room service and parking facilities.
I,ve been working on a website but haven't finished yet but anyway there are a couple of pictures on it so feel free to have a look.......www.61prado.com

Hi everybody,

I can definitely vouch for this place. I have seen it. It's a beautifully renovated house in the Prado district with decent prices. Check it out..

oviedo....nice to hear someone's discovered prado. good luck. i used to have some buddies that had old homes there and still know some families there. it's great. other buddies had antique businesses there. at the time...early 90s i lived in poblado, but hung out with my friends in prado. too, i was at the curia pretty often (villa nueva) to visit the monsignor.

hang in there, it'll work out. otherwise, just screw das and just run your affairs and don't worry about it.

an old friend of mine...the principal architect of the hotel inter in las palmas and one of the architects of nuti bara, took one of the old homes in prado and converted it into an after hours gay club. he now lives in key west. i never saw the place, he did this when we moved back to the states for our youngest daughter's education.

again, good luck. want support, go talk with the mayor of medellin and show him what you've done. he'll back you up. he's good.

PapiChulo not that it matters but not everybody that lives in Key West is gay. Lived and worked there myself for 15 years, still have my son and ex living there.

Doug I do think I know the architect you're talking about alltough I've never met him personally.

good thing i avoided the mention of my friends name. to me, every chicken is allowed his/her own roost. nothing more need be said.

this gentleman was a fantastic friend and was of immense help when i began my manufacturing years ago. i found no need--whatsoever--to have an opinion on his life and/or choices.

Looks like I'll be staying here at least a week if not the month, just depends on my guage of the hood at night more or less I suppose, otherwise place looks solid to me!

No matter where you go, the Korean tour bus isn't far behind.
