Park Tayrona - Campsite Contact Details (via Taganga)?

Those campsites in Park Tayrona also have a few basic huts that can be rented if you don't want to sleep in a hammock. I heard they can be booked in advance via someone / some office in Taganga. Can anyone provide the contact details?

N.B. I'm not talking at Ecohabs here....

You can book accomodation through Aviatur in their office in Sta. Marta or other cities in Colombia, before heading to Tayrona. Their huts or cabaƱas accomodation seemed to be rather costly. Check www.aviatur.com.co

There are other fincas offering campsited, hammocks (and maybe beds but I am not sure), but hose have to be booked on spot.

I haven't checked on the price but there are some cheaper rooms by the restaurant with the murals of indians. Otherwise, the govenment cabins go for about $150 a night. Cabo has one or two that are a little pricey but one is really cool.

If you want a little privacy, you can rent a tent.

You can only book in the goernment site from Santa Marta. You can talk to the guys taht operate the boats but they will be overly optimistic about everything as they want your business. I have some friends that got a good deal staying with some farmers and they really liked it.

No problem is so formidable that you can't walk away from it.
