Golfing in Cartegena...

... it seems that Antithesis and Miguel_Clavo were out playing golf earlier this week at the Karibana
... and neither of them was going to tell us about it ... apparently Anti and Clavo went with a couple of
the developers ...

... a couple of women were playing behind them ... the first of the twosome teed off and watched in
horror as her ball headed directly toward the foursome of men playing the next hole.

... indeed, the ball hit one of the men ....... Clavo immediately clasped his hands together at his
crotch, fell to the ground and proceeded to roll around in evident agony...

... the woman rushed down to Clavo and immediately began to apologize ... she said, "Please allow
me to help. I'm a physical therapist and I know I could relieve your pain if you'd allow" ...

... "ummph, oooh, nnooo, I'll be all right...I'll be fine in a few minutes," he replied breathlessly as he
remained in the fetal position still clasping his hands together at his crotch ...

... but she persisted, and he finally allowed her to help him ... she gently took his hands away and
laid them to the side, she loosened his pants, and she put her hands inside ..... she began to
massage him .......

... she then asked him, "How does that feel?"

... "It feels great, but my thumb still hurts like hell."

Golfing is great, you do not have to walk, break a sweat, and you can booze the entire time.

I remember the first time I golfed in Colombia two decades ago. Our caddy had a little tent he would set up so we could piss.

I am looking forward to them growing and grooming grass for their golf course project here. Should be interesting, Golf on dirt and sand. Nothing grows here except poverty.

... yes, growing and grooming grass for the project should provide full-time employment for a few ... I'm guessing they will find a way to make the place look like it does on their website ..... I'm curious - have you run into many tourists bemoaning the lack of golf courses? ... or is this an effort to attract a different segment of the tourist market?

i do not know anyone who golfs here. AT is the only one i actually spoke with about golf clubs and courses. I heard there was one near the airport. But everything near there looks dead, grasswise. Maybe it will be an indoor course? jajajj

its a marketing ploy, that is for sure. Look at any of the brochure photos of apts, then take a tour of the place. Just like the restaurants, the photos of the food served looks great, but the POS on your plate doesnt look like the photos...yuk.

Not to mention you can enjoy a good cigar as well, but I don't think you'll see me golfing in Caratagena anytime time soon, too fooken hot and humid. BTW Clavo, how many strokes did it take you to make it through the windmill> Funny story, I was golfing in the Dominican Republic at a beach side course once and hit a shot 3 feet from the pin (not usual for me) on a par three and as we are walking to the green, some idiot walks up and takes my ball and walks back to the beach, so i chase his as down and turns out to be a frenchie who thought he "found" a ball, the caddie had to stop me from cracking my 3 iron over his head.

Great golf course here close to manizales, club campestre. Absolutely beautiful, however, wide fairways, not tough course.
Anybody wants to play you are invited as my guest... joe
