I have this mental picture of the plane's passengers clapping when the plane touches down in Medellin.

Except for Shortiao who just lowers his head and sighs a little.

not really, if it was up to me, we'd divorce the outlaws and live in Santa Marta.

hey, after the school holidays are finished in europe the prices to miami should return to about £275-300 (as opposed to £500ish they are now)

from there you can get a spirit air flight from fort lauderdale (15 miles from miami) direct to medellin for about £150.

i'd be surprised if there is a cheaper way...but if anyone knows one, tell me! :)

when do the school holidays finish?

I found on edreams - Heathrow - JFK - Medellin return for £575...problem ia that the stop over is 13hrs and my missus has been refused a visa to the US on countless occasions we don't know if its worth trying for a transit visa.

Shorty , Have you tried with Iberia via madrid , in the end i booked through DIAL A FLIGHT - Andy 020-8225-1120 , though allow more than 3 hours for your Bogota - Medellin connection because Iberia dont know the meaning of 'on time' ances are and chances are you'll miss your connection (although if like me it was a evening conection they'l put you up in a swanky hotel for the night ;-D
Oh how Medellin misses you.................................
