Excellent review on Colombia

As one of only a few genuine Irishmen resident in Colombia, I'm in two minds on this excellent review from back home http://www.irishtimes.com/newspaper/travel/2009/1024/1224257348927.htm..., on the one hand it's great to hear positive things about my adopted country but at the same time, the last thing I want is to be bumping into Paddies everyday!!!

Are there many Non-genuine ones residing in Colombia?

All those damn Protestant Irishmen will be coming to Colombia to canvass for recruits.

Hopefully it's mostly the Catholic ones who will visit. Lol.

With that sort of welcome, maybe Niall Connolly, James Monaghan and Martin McCauley will go back to stand trial for training las FARC

You've never heard of Plastic Paddies?

I find the Irish to be cold deeply cynical people and I avoid them if at all possible.

Damn those worthless Protestant Irish.

I mean, it's not as if the likes of Samuel Beckett, Sean O'Casey, Oscar Wilde, W.B. Yeats, Bernard Shaw, Jonathan Swift, Edmund Burke, Edward Pakenham, Gordon Wilson or Michael Morris have ever done anything for the fame and renown of the Emerald Isle...
