It's perfectly fine. Nothing to rave about, but the rooms are a decent size and the water is at least lukewarm. The breakfast sucks, but there are lots of alternatives in that neighbourhood.

Cheers,
Terry

Sorry GS, I stayed with friends and at a couple 'backerish' type places. Probably not your speed ;) I can however tell you that when I was researching Bogota accommodations for my trip last year your hotel had great reviews on trip advisor. Go for it.

Ilovecidy famously stayed there when he realised that cidy didn't love him quite so much. He commented that the rooms overlook the courtyard and people come and go into the early hours and it is a bit noisy.

I have had dinner there and the food was pretty reasonable, it has an italian restaurant in the courtyard which might have been one of the things that stopped Ilovecidy getting some sleep

An a Mexican restaurant in the corner. An a cuban restaurant about 4 blocks away. Surrounded by many students from Universidad de La Salle.

If the Cuban restaurant is Moros y Cristianos,at Cl. 7A # 5-66, it is excellent. We have stayed and have had friends stay at the De La Opera. Very, very nice, great location, excellent restaurant but not inexpensive

One can stay at the cultural center on Cr 10 Cl 2 with the Mexican restaurant upstairs and also at the French cultural center/bakery on Cr 9 Cl 1-something where they have excellent breakfast and a sunny courtyard.
