3 days in Leticia 3 days in Santa Marta what to do?

Just wanted to get some feedback on the must do's in Leticia and Santa Marta. Also I heard there is some sort of shot that we can take so that the mosquitos wont want to bite us. Is this true? Have a pretty good idea from this website about what to do Just wanted additional info Thanks

I am easily bitten by mosquitos, but when I was in Santa Marta 3 weeks ago, I only got 1 bit. After that I just sprayed my powerful PRADA Eau de Cologne all over me - arms, legs!! lol

Bradk - I also was in Santa Marta for 3 days. As for Tayrona Park, you need 3 full says there. Try go to Rodadero - to the beach

Leticia: I liked monkey island, 90.000, booked at Decamaron, zip line (at Amacayacu), visit Indian Village, visit Puerta Narino or better yet sleep there.

How far is Puerta Narino from Leticia. I have a hotel in Leticia but could stay in Puerta Narino for a night if you think its worth it.

Can't people just show up and find their own way anymore?

P N is about 1 1/2 hours by public speed boat (26.000), to me it is worth it. There are no cars, it is calm and relaxed and there hotels outside of town in quiet, secluded places.
