Hey! Did you ever find someone have a beer in Bogota with you? I've actually been to Tuscon, I have no clue why but I thought I just had to fly to Tuscon for a long weekend to see a giant cactus.

Ya I thought it was 1988 too, but hey, who's counting ;) Mexico City seems to get some good shows and speaking of punk (if I told you this before ignore me) San Jose CR has a decent enough punk scene. I was pretty impressed. I saw a really good punk show there at a bar called Capones

Awesome. I was in San Jose for a brief time and saw an interest. Never saw a show in Latin America. Scratch that. While stationed in San Diego I used to go to Iguana's in Tijuana, BC, Mexico. I saw Offspring and Rancid there in the early 90s, and DRI (crossover metal/punk band).
Babygirl, I like your style jajajaja

babygirl says on Oct 6, 2009, 22:31:

Oh I remember DRI! I know when I was in San Jose it was just before Maiden was coming so my buddy was stoked about getting tickets. I was having serious doubts whether or not their stadium could handle a metal concert. o_0
I'd love to see a concert in Latin America. That would be sooooo cool. It will probably end up being in Mexico City when and if I do.

That's really cool that you saw Offspring so early in their career!!! Wait a sec, I was in CR August 2008. Maybe Maiden came back after that? Maybe I was there August 2007 and I'm getting really senile? hehehehe. I've never been to TJ, I hear it's pretty trashy, si o no?

That's unfortunately a negative. I'm stuck in the States until January 8th. If you're going to be in Colombia in January or June (or anytime after June; I'll be moving there then) we'll sit down for several ... hundred.
