sorry i didn't see your note. i taught english at my residence/bar/restaurant in llano grande. the classes were for the campesino children who obviously didn't have the $$$ for teachers or tutors. i didn't do it at the local rural school. it was just easier at my home/business. the word spread relatively fast and i maintained about 20 students. the sisters/teachers at the rural school thanked me for helping the childlren.

getting them to know the differences in pronounciation between the alphabet in english and in spanish, was the biggest help to them.

let me know how i can help. if you like the medellin area, and want to do some form of constructive help for the people, i personally recommend up country around llano grande. it's a lot more peaceful and tranquil.
