Had a 77 Chevy K-10 shortbed for many years. A real mixed matched mutt, but is would sure go. I used it in my work in the woods of the Lowcountry of South Carolina during the wet season. It was a 12 MPG hog so I let it sit when it was dry during the summer. I am without a toy now, but still have a 4wd tundra. Prefer a jeep CJ-7 that has been swapped over to the AMC 401 big block. Not much time for toys of any description these days :(

I know not what course others may take; but as for me, give me liberty or give me death!

yeah, but i haven't touched my axe in years. now my youngest plays with it. i play classic. in fact, i used to--back in the ice age of my life--play lute. i've also played sitar, sarod, and tamboura. i really like indian music. i always had trouble with steel strings, used to have an old gibson f hole and a.....shit, i forget, a real nice pro studio axe....but them steel strings just really did numbers on my fingers. with a sitar and a sarod, they're not strung as tight and it's a little easier. but when i played all the time it was always nylon or gut strings.

where are you now? we're stuck in lodi...........daytona until the youngest finishes high school and HOPEFULLY she chooses a university close to our oldest son, so he can ride shotgun. mom and i want to go home. i got no more mtns to climb.

hi tony.................sorry for the mix up..............happens when you get old.

so you're in the wood business, eh? like what, selling lumber? or what.

what i did was manufacture furnishings for a number of years then we lost our business in west hollywood/bev. hills to the rodney king riots and i just decided to hang up the shingle. had no desire to start rebuilding from scratch. had a great 20 years there, but i guess GOD decided that was enough.

i have a son, somewhere there abouts raleigh or winston-salem.....
